This one day session is facilitated by a Math Out of the Box consultant who teaches 2 to 3 lessons at a participating elementary school. The lessons are observed by appropriate grade level teams. Lessons are followed with a reflection session for each grade-level team. The reflection sessions include discussions about the role of the teacher, role of the student, teaching strategies, and role of materials.

Participating Teachers: Must teach the lessons up to the identified lesson, prep the materials including copies of any required student sheets, and organizing student groups. Students should have prior experience working in their groups.

Participating Schools: Provide substitutes.

Fee: $750 per day.
