This professional development for new users provides one-day sessions which focus on the vertical articulation of a strand of Math Out of the Box. Sessions are available for each strand including Developing Algebraic Thinking; Developing Geometric Logic; Developing Measurement Benchmarks; Developing Number Concepts, Module A; and Developing Number Concepts, Module B. Participants experience hands-on investigations, which are designed to make mathematical connections from kindergarten to fifth grade. Essential components of inquiry-based instruction are modeled.

These sessions are designed to be school-wide for up to 40 participants. If needed, sessions can be divided between grades K-2 and 3-5.

Fee: $1,000 per day. (Note: Depending on purchases, versions of these sessions are available through the publisher with consultants from Clemson University.
